Kevin arrived in Sin City on Friday afternoon, with sons Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 6 months, in tow.

The ex Mr Britney Spears checked into lavish Caesers Palace, where he spent the remainder of Friday lazing around in a VIP cabana at Caesars’ Venus Pool Club.

The birthday festivities commenced on Saturday night with Federline (who turned 29 on March 21st) having dinner at Social House, dining on Asian fare with 14 of his closest friends and family by his side.

He was talking on the phone and texting the whole time.

Later Kevin made his way to Caeser’s Pure nightclub, where ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson was present.

A source says

As soon as his parents got to the club they immediately went to Shar’s table on the other side of the club and hung out there for a while. They were taking photos with her and catching up. It’s pretty easy to see that they still care about her.

Drinking Jack Daniels and having a good time, the well dressed Kevin hung out in his VIP box all night, waving to the crowd.

At 2.30 am, Shar Jackson returned to the Federline table, to dance with his parents. Federline then grabbed the mic, says a source, and said to the crowd:

My entire family came out for my birthday. My brothers are here, my mother, my father, my sister and even my ex Shar Jackson came out for this.

The merriment finally ended at 4 am, where Kevin retreated to his palatial 4000 sq-ft suite.

I’m dating. I’m really happy and I’m having fun.

The Mean Girl also reflected on her stint in rehab, at the posh Wonderland Center in L.A., saying:

The 20 year old fraternal twins have already consulted Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr Raj Kanodia about matching nose jobs.

According to Touch Weekly magazine:

Ashley has always thought her nose was a little too big, so she wanted to get it done.

When she talked to her sister about it, she loved the idea.

They both love changing their looks. They thought this would make them look more polished.

Dr. Kanodia is the nose doctor to the stars. His clients include Jennifer Aniston (repaired a deviated septum), Cameron Diaz (repaired her broken nose from numerous surfing accidents), and Ashley Simpson (well, she just had a good ol’ fashioned nose job).

Looks like the Olsen twins are in good hands. Their snozz looks perfect to me. But hey!

But that’s not all. The stick-thin 25 year old adopted daughter of singing legend Lionel Richie has big plans post The Simple Life. Richie has a number of projects ranging from accessories, perfume, and books. She said:

I’m working on a style book, plus I’m launching a jewellery and accessories line, a sunglasses line and my own perfume.

The scent by a celeb craze shows no signs of dying down. Last year, 23 of the top 100 selling woman’s perfumes were celebrity scents. What does that mean? More ka-ching for the already loaded celebs.

Earlier in the week, Eminem filed a motion in Detroit’ Macomb Circuit Court for a legal gag order on Kim to prevent her from making “derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory and otherwise negative comments” about him in the media.

Since her divorce, Kim Mathers is doing all she can to get on Mr. Slim Shady’s nerves. Kim has accused the rapper of being a bad father as well as a rotten lover in bed.

Kim attended the hearing and a closed-door meeting beforehand in the chambers of Friend of the Court Referee David Elias. Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, wasn’t present, but spoke by telephone in Elias’ chambers.

The two sides settled on the deal that was announced at the court hearing.

Eminem’s lawyer, Harvey Hauer, said:

We’re happy the court was able to bring this matter to a just and equitable resolution.

Mathers’ attorney Michael J. Smith said the decision was reached “for the full benefit of the child.”

Smith said Eminem and Mathers have “to attempt to promote a good relationship” and “can’t talk bad about each other to the child.”

The couple was married in 1999 for two years. They remarried in January 2006, and Eminem filed for divorce in April of that year. The couple has one daughter, Hailie, as well as custody of Haillie’s cousin, Alaina.

A record 39.7 percent of Japanese citizens ages 16-49 have not had sex for over a month. This is up by 5% from two years ago. Among married couples, the rate was still staggeringly high - 34.6 percent.

According to Dr. Kunio Kitamura, the family planning association’s director:

This is very bad news for the country’s birth rate, and something the government needs to look into urgently.

The situation is dismal. My research shows that if you don’t have sex for a month, you probably won’t for a year.

The survey comes at a time when there is alarm over Japan’s faltering birth rate. The birth rate fell in 2005 to a record low 1.26 births in an average woman’s lifetime. This drop has raised concerns over impeding tax revenue shortfalls and labor shortages.

Kitamura cites the declining birthrate to stress in modern Japanese life. A decline in physical communication skills was also cited as a factor, with the Japanese preferring online interactions over face to face communication.

The association handed out the survey forms to 2,713 randomly selected people, out of which 1409 people (or, about 50%) responded. The association also did not give a margin of error.

This survey is only the latest to rank the Japanese poorly when it comes to sex. Japan came in last among 29 other countries in a study of sexual satisfaction published by the University of Chicago last year, with a mere 25.7 percent of lovers expressing satisfaction in bed. A similar study by condom manufacturer Durex also placed Japan last on its study. The Durex study concluded that the Japanese were having sex a mere 45 times a year, compared to a global average of 103.

As part of its ongoing drive to offer healthier fare, McDonalds has now put pasta on its children’s menu.

The Pasta Zoo and Zoo Goo - a meal comprising doughy animal-shaped pasta, a dollop of tomato sauce and low-fat milk served with a chocolate-filled Sipahh straw - was debuted in New Zealand restaurants yesterday.

A medley of roasted veggies is said to make up the filling inside the pasta pieces. McDonalds is touting the new McPasta as ‘nutritious and fun,’ but nutritionists are not buying it.

Bronwen King, a public health nutritionist with the Canterbury District Health Board said,

It appears to be a very carbohydrate-laden starchy meal without a lot of nutrients.

While King appreciated that McDonalds was trying to offer healthier foods to its customers, she said that the end product does not live up to the claims made by McDonalds.

King also said that the promotional material listing nutrients does not adequately list all the nutrient and vitamin content.

McDonald’s spokesman said that labeling on the meal met industry requirements, and that parents were not terribly interested in a detailed nutrient breakdown.

But the most important test is, obviously, the taste test. Children who tried the pasta did not mind either way. Neither did the parents.
As one mother put it:

It (nutritious food) is not really why we come here. We are just happy if they eat something.

Wonder when the pasta squirms its way to Indian McDonalds?

The split is blamed on demanding careers which meant they couldn’t spend too much time together, and eventually drifted apart.

James, 30, told Petra that it would be best if they stopped seeing each other. Petra, though upset about the split, has realized that the relationship was doomed.

However the pair is on friendly terms and regularly chats with each other on the phone.

A friend said:

James and Petra aren’t going out anymore. He told her it wasn’t working out and that it was best to make a clean break.

They are still on close terms as friends and they speak all the time.

He and Petra didn’t get to spend enough time together because their careers have kept them on different sides of the globe for much of the time.

James is now enjoying being a single man - he’s having the time of his life thanks to his huge success.

The couple called it quits shortly after attending this year’s Oscars in February.
